Look for the rating plate or sticker on your water heater
Serial Number
- •Usually on a metal plate near the top or side of the tank
- •Labeled as "Serial No." or "S/N"
- •Contains letters and numbers (e.g., "1234567890")
Model Number
- •Found on the same rating plate as the serial number
- •Labeled as "Model" or "Model No."
- •Often includes warranty info (e.g., "6YR" or "10YR")
